Our thoughts and prayers are with the state of Louisiana as they continue to deal with a significant level of flooding and one of the worst natural disasters in recent years.  Here’s how you can help flood victims:

• On-site at EMS World Expo: 

 

- Collection bins will be set up near Registration to collect your donations of clothing, personal care products, baby items, pet supplies, small toys, canned food and other items.

 

• Online:

 

- Acadian has more than 100 medics and employees whose homes were severely damaged by the flooding.  An Employee Assistance Fund has been set up through the Community Foundation of Acadiana to collect monetary donations. 

 

- Monetary donations can be made to the American Red Cross’s Disaster Relief fund here.
