CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS
We are now accepting abstracts for consideration for the 2017 EMS World Expo, scheduled for
October 16 - 20, 2017, in Las Vegas, NV.

The EMS World Expo conference program features timely, thought-provoking and educationally sound topics that are relevant to EMTs, paramedics, critical care providers, EMS educators, emergency nurses, EMS medical directors, EMS administrators and managers.
The following educational tracks are offered at EMS World Expo: BLS, ALS, Critical Care, Educator, Leadership, MIH-Community Paramedicine and Operations.
Preconference workshops can be 2-day, 1-day or 4 hours in length. The majority of core program EMS World Expo sessions are 75 minutes, including Q&A. We are also accepting sessions that are 30 minutes in length, as well as 15 minutes in length, for a new lightning-rounds section of the conference. We are accepting single speaker presentations, as well as suggestions for panel discussions. Applicants may have more than one submission for any type of session.
**Please Note: All proposals must be provided electronically. ** You must use either Firefox, Safari, or Google Chrome as your browser, not Internet Explorer.
Proposal Considerations
Members of the Program Advisory Committee evaluate all proposed programs based on the following criteria:
-
Overall quality;
-
Relevance to the EMS community;
-
Well-defined focus within the program track structure;
-
Practical applications of material;
-
Timeliness of the topic and speaker qualifications
When submitting your proposal(s) consider the following guidelines:
-
Top consideration is given to new, high-quality and/or timely topics not previously presented at EMS World Expo or other national events;
-
Strong consideration will be given to presentations that focus on solutions and best practices for both field providers and EMS leaders;
-
Your class description should answer the following: What will attendees gain from this session? What are the learning objectives? What will attendees take home to their agency?
We recommend speakers submit several classes for consideration, as faculty members typically present 2–3 sessions at EMS World Expo.
Checklist
Your proposal MUST include:
-
A description of your prospective conference session including 3-5 learning objectives.
-
A short bio describing your education and experience in EMS that would be used in promotional materials.
-
The names and post-nominals of each speaker/instructor.
